Police UHF Frequencies

Some UHF repeater sites still remain licensced to SAPOL, and it is possible that these will remain in place as a backup to the SAGRN. However there is currently little, if any activity on the UHF frequencies.

H.F. Network
SAPOL still have an extensive H.F. network, with radios fitted to many remote police stations and vehicles used in country locations. The network consists of a remote base site at Greenhill, linked via UHF back to the Police Communications centre at Carrington street. Other remote base sites are also linked via telephone networks back to the communications centre.

Ch 2 - 5.180 Mhz
Ch 3 - 7.800 Mhz
Ch 4 - 10.295 Mhz
